A few weeks of radio silence here on the blog. There was a death in my close family which resulted in a lack of time for blogging and to be honest I didn’t feel like gardening at all the first few weeks. In the meanwhile there was no denying that fall had arrived. This doesn’t mean I haven’t done or harvested anything in the garden.
Above is the only picture of last week’s harvest, there was some camera shy lettuce as well. The tomatoes and peppers are definetly the last of 2016, since I’ve emptied the greenhouse last week. I planted some lettuce, radicchio, endives and corn salad now, we’ll see if we’ll be able to eat from those in the future.
Below are some pictures of the veggies I harvested in October. Take a look here for some pictures of the garden at the beginning of November.
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. It is good to see you back though. I think gardening can be very therapeutic at times like this, it is for me because it helps to distract me from the worries in the rest of my life. Those are some lovely vegetables that came out of the greenhouse. And that head of lettuce is so perfect!

Thank you, Michelle. It is definetely therapeutic for me as well. The world would be a better place if everyone did some gardening from time to time 🙂
